This is it

This is it, today Rich and I start our grand tour. After almost two years in the making, we are leaving tonight for our trip. I am doing the last minute stuff that needs to be done before we leave. I am doing the last loads of laundry for the next five months. I have to go get a pedicure today too. Haven't had one since September and my toes are in desperate need of attention. Hahahaha. 

I am, of course, very excited, but I am also very nervous. I have never been away from home for this long of a time before. I am going to miss my friends, family, animals, and my chorus, Voices in Harmony. I am also nervous because of this very long flight. We leave tonight at 9:00 and arrive in Singapore Thursday. My knees can not be in a sitting position for that length of time. The only reason we said we would do this is because we are flying business class, so we do have lie flat seats. I will be quite comfortable, but now my fear is I won't be able to sleep. I take a sleeping aid almost every night. If I can't sleep I will be a complete mess by the time we get to Singapore. You should have seen me coming home from Africa. We were in economy class and I cried almost the whole way home. 

Well, I off to get my pedicure. So I'll write again soon.
